Hey, I’m Andrea, but you can call me Dea.
Born and raised in Brazil, Australian citizen since 2015, wifey, mama of 2 beautiful and wild boys. I’m a beach, ocean and book lover, chai latte and cacao kind of girl!
I’m Graduated in Pedagogy and Early Childhood Education and have over 15 years experience working with mothers an families. I have also had a few small business and worked in the Allied health industry as an Admin Manager. After that, I took the leap to follow my dream of having my own business and became an Allied Health Virtual Assistant. And this is when everything changed.
After having my own children, my whole world turned upside down and I completely lost myself. Everything that I used to do, did not fit into my routine anymore. Everything that I enjoyed doing or that made sense for me, did not anymore. I got completely lost within myself and took a few years to rebuild myself again. Took a few failed attempts to learn what would work within mine and my family’s routine, it took a few debts to understand how I could earn real money to support myself and my family. It took me many years to learn how to say no, how to prioritise myself and accept only what makes me feel comfortable and happy, into the reality I live in. And this also changed everything as I was able to break free from a job that was not my passion, I was able to have the flexibility I needed into my children’s routine, I was able to earn enough money to support myself again and my family. I was able to have the freedom to find myself again.
Was it easy? Not a bit. It has so far been the most hardest thing I have ever done (after giving birth LOL). And it is still hard but very rewarding. Knowing everyday that the power to change my reality is in my hands and I’m changing it, feeling free to be my own self, to do what I love everyday, is why I’m here.
The Empowered Chapter was created from this place: I want to help other mothers to find themselves again. I want to empower other mothers to reclaim their own freedom. I want to help other mothers to leave their toxic relationships, their unsustainable workplaces and show them that it is entirely possible to care for yourself and build a career you love, right in the middle of the beautiful chaos of motherhood.

But we are here to tell you that when you get to the other side (which you will), every challenge is worth it.
You deserve to have the life you always dreamt of, the family you have always dreamt of, the financial freedom that can take you to your complete freedom.
You deserve to feel loved, supported, cared for as well as empowered! Because you ARE amazing!
